This is all I had in the fridge that I thought would make a nice model. Pentel pocket brush - I never use it, but I like the results when o ther people use it. I found it hard to create mid values though - and as I write this, I remembered an exercise from Sketchbook Skool. Jean-Cristophe Defline had us draw something only in black and white - we had to chose what to do with the mid-tones: either leave them white or black so that the resulting composition is balanced.
Will keep in mind this as I work my way through the pictures from Portugal and I also try to finish the few sketches done there,
