Art Tutor tip

Every now and then I get an email from the Art Tutor. This time it was a short tutorial about painting trees and I could not help but try it.

I am quite pleased with the results. What I like most is that there is no green in these sketches - only yellows, blues and some earth colors. Now if only I find a way to paint the foliage and I am done with the greenery :) Of course, i also have to remember to use this method in the field. I recently sketched a tree using this method and I forgot the branches!
